Therapy FAQ

What can I expect from my first therapy session?
Your first few therapy sessions typically begin with a brief check-in to discuss your current feelings and any immediate concerns. We will work to create a safe and confidential space for you to share openly. The session may involve exploring your thoughts, emotions, and experiences related to postpartum challenges, helping to identify patterns and triggers.
Together, we will set goals and develop coping strategies to support your mental health and well-being.
Sessions usually last about 45 to 55 minutes and may include homework assignments or exercises to practice between appointments. The process is collaborative, respectful, and paced according to your comfort and readiness for change.
